Wood has always held a special place in my life. Since birth, I have lived among the beautiful hills of Nógrád County, and today I could not imagine life without the closeness of nature. The scent, naturalness, and warmth of wood bring me peace, as if I were in the middle of a forest – even when I am working in my workshop. For me, wood is not just a material, but an inspiration that forms the foundation of every single creation.
The Story of Artwoody
The story of Artwoody began when I was thinking about a career change. I wanted to escape office work in search of something creative, tangible, and rewarding. Since woodworking had long fascinated me, I started experimenting with laser cutting as a hobby. My first pieces were made for my children, my wife, friends, and acquaintances, who not only praised my work but also encouraged me to pursue it more seriously. That is how the Artwoody brand was born.
How the Products Are Made
My creations combine heart, soul, and modern technology. Every piece begins with design, a process I immerse myself in thanks to my background in graphic design. This is where the uniqueness of my products originates: I can incorporate personalized requests and ideas into each piece. Then comes the laser cutting, after which I carefully sand away the tiny burn marks so that the surface is perfectly smooth and pleasant to the touch. When required, I hand-paint, prime, and varnish each item so that the end result is not just a decorative object, but something truly lovable. Many of my works are multi-layered compositions with a special depth effect that highlights the uniqueness of the wood even more.
